難忘的萬圣節(jié)
在那個平常而又不平凡的一天??萬圣節(jié)。對于中國人來說這可能只是普通的一天,但對西方人來說,這可是個“鬼節(jié)”!而我,也在那個月黑風(fēng)高的晚上,度過了那個難忘、愉快、驚險的萬圣節(jié)……
在當(dāng)天的放學(xué)之際,我壓根就不知道今天是萬圣節(jié),但我正準(zhǔn)備出校門時,曹霄鵬一把把我拉著,對我說:“哎,王虹儒,今天是萬圣節(jié),陽光飛揚(yáng)那兒要舉辦聚會,你去不去?”我一聽,心頭一喜,還有這等有趣的事,反正在家也無聊,不如答應(yīng)吧。我便對曹霄鵬呵呵一笑,說:“好!咱倆不見不散!被丶液,心想:聚會?一定很好玩,還是關(guān)于萬圣節(jié)的,我得去必須得去嘗個鮮。吃完飯,便和曹霄鵬一起來到了陽光飛揚(yáng)。
終于到了,在門口的兩個小鬼差點把我嚇了一大跳:他們兩個面目猙獰,蒼白,遠(yuǎn)看像兩個張牙舞爪的小鬼,近看像兩頭發(fā)嗜獸性的惡魔。我們躲開了這兩個怪獸,走進(jìn)去,也仍有一股寒氣瑟瑟,刺人心骨的感覺:古老的南瓜燈上披著厚厚的灰,似乎正在用它那扭曲的表情歡迎你的到來。蒼白的白熾燈一閃一閃地,好像快要爆了一樣。我和曹霄鵬小心翼翼地走了上去??哦,原來是做游戲,有“鬼吹燈”??吹蠟燭,“血盆大口”??咬橘子,“身后是什么”??猜謎……我都玩過了,其中,最令我難忘的還得屬那陰森森的鬼屋了。
記得那個時候,鬼屋門口堵滿了人,大家都躍躍欲試,但出來的人都抹抹,胸口說:里面真有鬼嗎?我心想:真的有鬼嗎?頓時,我害怕起來,不想進(jìn)去了,正在我徘徊之際,曹霄鵬對我說:“走,進(jìn)去領(lǐng)教一下!蔽矣仓^皮說:“對,去領(lǐng)教一下!钡以诤竺孀咧,可心里就像有一千只小兔子怦怦直跳,搞得我忐忑不安。我悄悄地推開門,首先映入眼簾的是一個吊死的女人,似乎在哭訴,眼睛似乎正發(fā)憤怒的光。我一驚,飛快地朝前跑去,忽然不知道從哪兒發(fā)出凄涼的叫喚聲,這聲音在這屋子里發(fā)出共鳴,一陣陣的回聲在我心中磨出漣猗,不由得生起幾絲恐懼。我繼續(xù)走著踩到一個圓圓的東西,呀!竟是一個腦袋!還有手、還有腳、還有一大灘血!我的心里再也承受不了了,怎么辦,我再也不敢往前走了,飛奔出去,抹著胸口喘著大氣說:“嚇?biāo)牢伊。”腦海里不斷重現(xiàn)著剛才的畫面。直到最后才知道,那女人只是個裙子;聲音是一臺地下的電腦發(fā)出來的;斷手、斷腳等是一些塑料做的;還有那血,是番茄醬……假如我不知道這些秘密的話,那晚上一定睡不著……
呵呵,這個萬圣節(jié)過得真有趣,不僅鍛煉了我的膽量,還讓這一天在我的記憶里留下了充實與快樂。

Halloween
Halloween is an autumn holiday that Americans celebrate every year. It means "holy evening," and it comes every October 31, the evening before All Saints' Day. However, it is not really a church holiday, it is a holiday for children mainly.
Every autumn, when the vegetables are ready to eat, children pick large orange pumpkins. Then they cut faces in the pumpkins and put a burning candle inside. It looks as if there were a person looking out of the pumpkin! These lights are called jack-o'-lanterns, which means "Jack of the lantern".
The children also put on strange masks and frightening costumes every Halloween. Some children paint their faces to look like monsters. Then they carry boxes or bags from house to house. Every time they come to a new house, they say,"Trick or treat! Money or eat!" The grown-ups put treat-money or candy in their bags.
Not only children, but most grown-ups also love Halloween and Halloween parties because on this day,they can disguise themselves as personages or ghost as their imaginations will lead them. This bring them the satisfaction of being young.
